You can change the profile picture on your wiki as long as it is NOT a picture of you! You can use a picture of your dog or even a flower from your garden as long as you are not in it. Below is a list of free Avatar generators that will let you create an Avatar in your likeness that is also an option for you to use. Have fun!
Just a reminder that you are NOT allowed to change your username or password
on this wiki. Lego Mini-Mizer - this application allows you to create your own lego avatar. Click on each button under the picture to choose the part that you would like to make. To save your person there are a few steps that we need to take. First find the print screen button on your keyboard, then the alt button. You will need to press both of them. Then open Microsoft Paint. From the edit menu choose paste. Click on yes for the bigger bitmap and save the image. Next you will have to crop your picture to a reasonable size. Choose the select tool and drag the mouse until you get what you want to save. Right click on the bit you want and choose cut. You are almost done! Open a brand new file and paste it into it. Choose <file> save as. Choose a place to save it and give it a name. From the save as file type box -- choose .jpg and click on save. WHEW! You have saved the image!
Dopple Me- On the home page click on the tab that says, "Click here to create your first avatar" link> chose your gender, hair and eye color> click on the "next" tab. Click the tabs on the left to continue creating and adding features to your avatar. Please note that any feature that is "grayed out" will not work. When your avatar is finished click on the "I'm done" tab. Disregard the page that asks for information and simply left click on the completed picture and click on "save image as" and it will save to your computer. Remember you will need to know where you saved it so you can upload to change your wiki avatar.
Once you have created your avatar you can then upload it to the wiki and change your profile picture. Below are those directions.
Directions to change your Profile Picture
1. Create your Avatar and save it to your computer (make sure you remember where you saved it!).
2. Navigate back to the home page of the wiki.
3. Click on your username on the header of any page to go to your Account page (left hand side of page).
4. Under Picture, click Change.
5. Click on browse to select an image from your computer. Your profile picture must be in the .gif, .jpg/.jpeg or .png format.
6. Click on that file>> click on open and then click on upload.
7. The avatar will then appear on the page.
8. Scroll to the bottom of the page to click on save.
